What services are included in housekeeping?
Housework includes:
- laundry;
- light housekeeping (ex: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors);
- kitchen cleaning, including washing dishes, cleaning counters and appliances;
- proper disinfection of care equipment (commode chair, elevated toilet seat, tub chair, wheelchair);
- cleaning the bathroom(s);
- cleaning clients’ bedrooms, including sheet changes.
